Biography
Vasudha Purohit is an associate who defends clients involved in business and general litigation, personal injury, and trucking and transportation matters. Vasudha comes to the firm after working as an associate at a large litigation firm. In that role she prepared initial case evaluations; advised partners on litigation strategies; drafted memorandums, legal briefs, motions, and pleadings in a variety of general liability, personal injury, and other civil litigation matters; conducted legal research; represented clients at depositions and settlement negotiations; and conferred with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel on discovery and document production. Vasudha began building her experience in the legal profession with legal internships at three Northern California law firms and working as a student clinician for the Internet & Intellectual Property Law Clinic in San Francisco. She is skilled in legal research and fluent in several languages beyond English, including Hindi, Urdu, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia.
Vasudha earned her J.D. along with an Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2022 where she served on the Board of Editors of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Journal. She obtained her B.A. in political science and history from the University of Toronto, graduating with honors in June 2019. As an undergraduate she was vice president for United Nations Women, worked on promotions and outreach for TEDxUofT, and won the Oxford Crown Court Moot Court competition during a summer when she studied abroad at Oxford University.
