Caitlin Wiley-Walker is an associate attorney at EGHB specializing in environmental, personal injury defense, and trucking and transportation matters. Caitlin has strong litigation skills that include propounding and responding to discovery; preparing environmental matters for trial involving CERCLA, CLRRA, HSAA, and common law claims; defending fact witness and expert depositions; editing and commenting on expert witness reports; conducting environmental due diligence review and analysis of Phase I reports; reviewing and editing proposed contracts for real property transactions; conducting legal research in federal and state environmental law claims and common law claims; and appearing at law and motion hearings, status conferences, and case management conferences. She also has experience working as a legal assistant in the Special Operations Division of the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office where she conducted legal research in environmental and consumer protection laws; drafted and edited letters for Deputy District Attorneys; compiled discovery responses and organized discovery production; reviewed and analyzed Proposition 65 notices; and facilitated service of subpoenas after Civil Grand Jury indictments. Her previous positions include serving as a certified law clerk with a San Francisco general practice firm, as a legal intern in the Energy & Telecommunications Department of the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, and as a legal research representative for LexisNexis.
Caitlin earned her JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2017. As a student, she served on the Intellectual Property Law and Technology Journal and Maritime Law Journal; was involved with the Pilipino American Law Society and the Student Bar Association, and earned a Public Interest Law Certificate. She obtained her undergraduate degree in environmental studies from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2012.
