Biography
Farheena A. Habib is an equity partner with Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum who practices primarily in the areas of employment and labor law, environmental, toxic tort, and product liability. As part of her environmental litigation practice, Farheena has represented clients in both state and federal court including numerous cases involving CERCLA and RCRA claims. Farheena has managed cases through all phases of litigation and has extensive experience with client counseling, deposition and motion practice, mediation, and settlement.
Farheena obtained her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2005 and her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of California at Davis in 2001. Following graduation from Boston University, Farheena served as a legal research clerk for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. In her capacity as a clerk, Farheena analyzed pre-trial motions, conducted legal research, and drafted bench memoranda for judges of the Superior Court of Connecticut.
Farheena is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and Queens Bench. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California and before the Northern, Eastern, and Central District Courts of California.
