Biography
Amal Pujol is an associate who practices in the areas of general litigation and trucking and transportation. Amal joined EGHB from her previous role as deputy district attorney in the Riverside District Attorney’s Office. Her other professional experience includes working as a post-bar law clerk at the Riverside District Attorney’s Office, and as a certified law clerk in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that she worked as a legal assistant in the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for the Social Security Administration.
Amal passed the California Bar Exam in October of 2020. She earned her J.D. from LMU Loyola Law School, where she was a member of the Black Law Students Association, as well as Secretary and Co-President of the Veterans Law Society. She obtained her B.A. in political science from Cal State East Bay. While there, she received a certificate of recognition for commitment to education from the California Legislature Assembly, and a certificate of acknowledgement for academic achievement from Veteran Student Services. Amal also served as a hospital corpsmen and preventive medicine technician in the U.S. Navy. In addition, she earned certifications from the Naval Hospital Corps School and Naval School of Health Sciences. She is conversational in Spanish and proficient in Krio.
