Alexis N. King is an associate whose practice is primarily focused in the areas of employment law, product liability, and trucking and transportation. Prior to joining EGHB, Alexis gained professional experience in associate attorney roles with two national law firms. During law school she began building her resume working as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Michael J. Brown at the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Honorable Paul M. Warner at the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Additionally, she gained experience as an intern with a large law firm in Sydney, Australia and at the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, D.C. She was admitted to the California State Bar on January 3, 2020.
In April of 2017, Alexis earned her J.D. from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School where she was the recipient of an academic achievement scholarship; an outreach director and a founding member of the BYU Tech Club; and a lead editor of the BYU Law School’s Journal of Public Law. Alexis also earned her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, completing her studies in April of 2012 with a B.A. in English and minor in political science. Alexis’ personal interests include playing basketball, hiking, and reading novels and nonfiction.
