UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) College of the Law appointed Managing Partner Noel Edlin to its Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, Noel will help guide the school’s policies and financial strategies while playing an important role in transforming the campus. This is an exciting time to be a Trustee because the school is planning a major revitalization that includes student housing developed in partnership with UCSF, extensive improvements to existing spaces, and a new state-of-the-art building befitting a 21st century legal education.

“The way we practice law is changing at lightning speed,” says Edlin. “UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) is adapting to provide an exceptional legal education based on how the profession and tools we use are rapidly evolving.”

Founded in 1878 and situated in downtown San Francisco’s legal and business epicenter, UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) integrates rigorous academics with hands-on practice. Edlin, an accomplished trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience, earned his J.D. from UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings) in 1982 and served on the school’s Board of Governors for the past five years.
