Noel Edlin and Erin K. Poppler were selected to present at the Emerging and Environmental Claims Managers Association (EECMA) Conference on May 2, 2014. Noel will discuss how legal teams are adopting new e-discovery strategies to deal with Big Data, such as predictive coding, a process by which electronically stored information is coded and prioritized according to a series of carefully defined rules. Erin will explain why predictive coding is a particularly good fit for e-discovery in environmental litigation and discuss the emerging trend in federal courts to allow the use of predictive coding where its application has been at issue.
The annual EECMA conference gives attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest topics and trends in environmental litigation that affect insurance companies and their clients. This will be the fourth year Edlin Gallagher Huie + Blum attorneys have presented at the conference.
