Rachel N. Rivers is an associate who specializes in the areas of insurance, real property, business litigation, commercial litigation, and appeals. She adeptly advocates for her clients from intake to resolution; and is well-versed in all aspects of litigation, trial preparation, and settlement negotiation. Rachel was named a 2021 Rising Star by Super Lawyers and serves on the SF Barristers Litigation Executive Committee.
Rachel earned her J.D. in 2012 from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law. As a law student she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, a Public Interest Law Foundation fellow, and a MidPenn Legal Aid volunteer. She began building her legal resume working as a student attorney for the Rural Economic Development Clinic, as a summer law clerk for the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide, and as a legal intern with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Center for International Environmental Law, respectively. She graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2008, earning both a B.A. in rhetoric and a B.S. in conservation and resource studies.
