Jesper Rasmussen is an experienced litigator and trial attorney with substantial experience in employment and labor law, business litigation, consumer protection, product liability, public entity defense, civil rights, personal injury, and insurance coverage. His extensive negotiation and analytical abilities have equipped him to resolve cases in a wide variety of disputes in the early stages of litigation and, if needed, to take cases to trial where he has never lost a case. He serves as Chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor Law practice group.
Jesper earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. He also holds a Master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Toronto (completed in just one year). Jesper earned his B.A. in philosophy from UC Berkeley where he was a Dean’s List Scholar. Since 2006 he has served as Judge Pro Tem, Alameda Superior Court. Notably, Jesper has two published decisions: Jackson v. Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (2019) 32 Cal.App.5th 166, and Alcarez v. Vece (1997) 4 Cal.4th 1149.
