Kennedy Poe is an associate who specializes in handling casualty and personal injury defense matters, with a particular emphasis on claims related to vehicular accidents. Kennedy joined BEHB after working as an attorney for one of the top immigration firms in the world. Prior to that, she held positions as a legal intern with an asset management company in London, U.K; an international bank in Dallas, TX; and a law office in Avila Beach, CA.
Kennedy obtained her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she earned a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and a Pepperdine Law Restricted and Endowed Scholarship. During her time at Pepperdine, she also earned certificates in Entrepreneurship and the Law as well as in International Comparative Law. In addition to her legal education in the U.S., Kennedy participated in Pepperdine’s London Program where she studied, externed, and lived in London, U.K for two semesters. As a law student, she served as Managing Editor of the school’s Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship, and the Law and earned writing credit for an article published therein on arbitration agreements. She also holds a B.A. in political science with a minor in global politics from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
