Max Neiman is an associate based in San Francisco who focuses on toxic tort, trucking and transportation, and general litigation matters. Max came to EGHB after three years as an associate with a Northern California litigation firm. In that role he gained valuable experience helping the partners and his colleagues prepare cases for trial. Notably, he was involved in all phases of the mass tort claims resolution process stemming from the 2017 and 2018 PG&E wildfires; including client acquisition, claim management, and claim resolution.
Max earned his J.D. in 2018 from UC Hastings College of the Law, where he received a CALI Award, Real Estate Transactions; was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and Mediation Clinic; and served as senior production editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal. As a law student he began honing his legal skills as a clerk with two law firms and through his work at the UC Hastings Mediation Clinic. Max started laying the groundwork for his legal career as an undergraduate by serving as a judicial extern for the Hon. Teri L. Jackson in San Francisco Superior Court. He graduated in 2013 from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in political science.
