Biography
Joe Adams is an equity partner who specializes in environmental, personal injury, product liability, and toxic tort matters. Licensed to practice in California and Hawaii, Joe skillfully advocates for clients confronted with high-risk litigation involving multiple parties and highly technical scientific concepts. He defends premises owners, subcontractors, manufacturers, and distributors of a wide range of products, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. Joe has 20 years of experience trying cases to verdict and resolving matters with dispositive motions and mediation. He has the knowledge and experience to handle large pollution matters and catastrophic injury cases from start to finish, including adeptly managing the scientific and medical experts needed to prevail in these complex cases.
Joe earned his B.A. in American studies from the University of California Santa Cruz and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. His law school achievements include: the American Jurisprudence Award (Highest Honors), Legal Research & Writing; he was accepted as one of five students into Criminal Trial Clinic; and he was recognized as a Public Interest Law Scholar. In addition to his many professional achievements, Joe is an accomplished triathlete and avid outdoor enthusiast.
