Biography
Mariam J. Aboudamous is an associate who specializes in business litigation, construction law, product liability, and toxic tort matters. She holds key positions in community organizations that relate to her practice areas. Mariam currently serves as a Council Member with the City of American Canyon and as an Appointed Member of the League of California Cities’ Housing, Community, and Economic Development Policy Committee. She also serves on the Napa County League of Governments and the Association of Bay Area Governments as an elected official; and is a county and state delegate of the Napa County Democratic Central Committee.
Mariam earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she was an on-campus representative for Bloomberg Law and Themis Bar Review while serving on the boards of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club and Middle Eastern South Asian Association. After completing her law degree, Mariam went to The Hague, Netherlands where she used her fluency in Arabic to write decisions and oral orders on behalf of the presiding judge at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. She also holds a degree in political science with a minor in Middle East/South Asia studies from UC Davis. As an undergraduate, Mariam worked on various immigration cases in her capacity as an intern for Congressman Mike Thompson in his Napa district and Washington, D.C. offices.
